Measurement method :
1.Before using the Jinhong® Medical Aneroid Sphygmomanometer with Stethoscope, check it first. The normal use of the sphygmomanometer usually points at "0" position. After pressurization, it reacts flexibly and can still return to the original "0" position.

2.Please sit at the table and put your left arm on the table to keep a relaxed posture.

3. Adjust the arm to the same height as the heart. If the height is not enough, add a cushion under the arm.  

4. Flatten the arm band so that the middle part of the air band is facing the brachial artery, and the lower edge of the brachial band reaches 2 to 3 cm above the cubital fossa. It should not be too tight or too loose. Generally, two fingers should be inserted under the sleeve to avoid affecting the correctness.

5. Insert the auditory head of stethoscope into the arm band and place it on the brachial artery of elbow.  

6. Slowly inflate the brachial band with latex ball, and pay attention to monitoring. When the brachial artery pulsation disappears, the pressure will be increased by 2.5kpa-4kpa (20mmhg-30mmhg) to stop pumping.

7. After the pressure is stopped, slowly release the air in the arm band at the speed of 0.3kpa-0.6kpa (2mmhg-4mmhg) per second, so that the pointer of the sphygmomanometer gradually drops.

8. When the first pulsating sound is heard through the stethoscope in the descending process, the pressure value indicated by the watch needle is the systolic pressure.

9. When the pulsatile sound turns to murmur after gradually increasing, the tone will suddenly become dull and disappear gradually. When the sound is not heard, it is diastolic blood pressure.

*When blood pressure is measured, it should be repeated for 2 to 3 times, and the average reading will be taken as the blood pressure value.

*The back of the sphygmomanometer case is equipped with a metal hook, which can be hung on the arm belt when in use, so as to make the reading more convenient.
